Harlem Flagship 17 / New York / Stores

Jimmy Jazz approached Double early in 2016 with the opportunity to help transform their 125th Street store.  Delving deep into the brand and store history, Double created a concept that was in tune with both the brand and the customer’s needs while referencing the location and community that the Harlem flagship is an integral part of.

Following meetings and site visits in New York, the design process was completed from the UK in three phases.  Upon reaching sign off of conceptual work for the store, Double proceeded to work on all technical engineering refs for store fixtures and features, providing the assigned architect and millworkers with detailed manufacturing and installation guidelines.  Double then worked closely with both Jimmy Jazz and main contractor teams to guide the technical development, material and variation approval process.
